Loch Mor Residence
A secluded lakefront site situated atop a steep bluff asks for expansive waterfront vistas. Given the site’s attributes, all of the main spaces capture these views, as the home reaches alongside the bluff.
The gathering spaces create an open vista to the lake upon approach, as the private spaces above are shrouded in louvers. This broken down organization and layering effect, by the client’s wishes, naturally creates a levitating feeling inside and out; as does the bluff it resides near.
From the beautifully sporadic nature of the lake, to the top of the bluff, and into the forest, this home fits into its’ respective site by layering client specific spaces, all leveraging their specific use and opportunities for expansive views.
